Our history
Moved by the charm of Provençal properties dozing in the sunshine, set amid a landscape of plane trees, wheat fields and olive groves, Émile Garcin founded the EMILE GARCIN luxury real estate group in Saint‑Rémy‑de‑Provence in 1963. His sincere and deep‑rooted passion for beautiful homes soon inspired his three children—Emmanuel, Nathalie and Antoine—who became involved in the development of the business, preserving its family‑owned and independent spirit.
In 1986, Emmanuel Garcin opened the Ménerbes agency in the Luberon. Four years later, Nathalie Garcin launched her first Parisian agency on the Left Bank, in rue de l’Université, followed by a Right Bank office in rue du Boccador. Antoine Garcin, the youngest of the three, established himself in Mougins in 2004, on the hills overlooking the village so dear to Picasso. Over just over sixty years, the company has grown considerably. It now operates 27 non‑franchised agencies covering Provence as a whole, the Rhône Valley, the Basque Coast, Deauville, the Périgord, the Bordeaux region, the Île‑de‑France, as well as the Alpine and Lyon areas. Internationally, EMILE GARCIN is also present in Morocco, Geneva and Brussels.
