Emile Garcin is above all a family company that was founded in 1963 by Emile Garcin in Saint-Rémy-de Provence.
After playing a leading role in developing the property market in the Alpilles and the Luberon, the Emile Garcin Group expanded. Today it has fourteen agencies in France (none of which are franchises), offices in Marrakech and Tangiers, and also correspondents in Dublin, London and Stockholm.
Nathalie Garcin opened the first Paris agency in 1990 on the Rive Gauche. It was followed by agencies in Biarritz, Deauville, the Rive Droite in Paris, the Ile-de-France and the Périgord.
Emmanuel Garcin, faithful to his native Provence, opened the Ménerbes agency in 1987 and today runs the Luberon sector.
Antoine Garcin is responsible for the Côte d’Azur, operating from the firm’s office in Mougins.
Emile Garcin, operating from the parent company in Saint-Rémy-de Provence, oversees Uzés, Aix-en-Provence and Marseilles. He has also founded « Emile Garcin Vignobles » and « Emile Garcin Investissements », proposing stylish bed and breakfast, luxury hotels and golf courses.
The Garcins are aesthetes at heart, for whom architectural heritage is an art of living: harmonious old buildings or audacious futuristic architecture, a fine ordered garden or a beautiful landscape, are essential criteria for them, sometimes combined in subtle osmosis in the choice of the properties they offer their clientele.
This motivated Emile Garcin to become a sponsor by creating the Emile Garcin Prize with « Vieilles Maisons Françaises ». The prize is awarded for the restoration or renovation of an old house or garden.
In 2006 it was awarded for the garden of the « Moulin Blanc – Gaston de Saporta », at Saint Zacharie in the Var.
In 2007 it was awarded for the restoration of the Convent of Saint-François at Oletta in the Haute Corse.
The criteria essential in selecting a property for sale are its special location, authenticity, architectural quality and charm.
The secrets of the ethics and spirit of Emile Garcin : absolute discretion, an ability to listen, courtesy and time devoted to vendors and buyers, a code observed by each of the 80 people who work for the Emile Garcin Group and one which has earned the family company its reputation and trust.
A fine history of a family constantly searching for a new area to develop.
